  • 2 teaspoons of Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 cup (45g) of Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1 cup (240ml) of Strawberry Puree
  • 1 cup (240ml) of Milk

  • Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease three 9-inch round cake pans with butter or cooking spray, and line the bottoms with parchment paper.
  • Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes. Incorporate the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add in the vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Step 3: Divide the batter into three equal portions. In one portion, mix in the cocoa powder for the chocolate layer. In another, gently fold in the strawberry puree for the strawberry layer. Leave the final portion plain for the vanilla layer.
