  • 4 large Eggs
  • 1 cup of Buttermilk
  • 2 teaspoons of Vanilla extract

  • Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans or use parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy, about 4-5 minutes.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, fully incorporating each before adding the next. Pour in the vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the buttermilk. Start and end with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  • Gently fold in the diced strawberries.
  • Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
