Ingredients
- Fresh stone crab claws (about 2 lbs)
- Olive oil (3 tablespoons)
- Garlic (4 cloves, minced)
- Lemon zest (from 2 lemons)
- Old Bay seasoning (2 tablespoons)
- Butter (1 cup, melted)
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Start by rinsing your stone crab claws under cold water. Pat them dry with a paper towel to ensure an even cooking surface.
- In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, and Old Bay seasoning. Add the stone crab claws to the mixture and toss until well-coated. Let them marinate for 20 minutes.
- While your crab is marinating, preheat your Traeger grill to 350°F.
- Once preheated, arrange the marinated claws on the grill grate. Close the lid and grill for about 30-40 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
- While your stone crab claws are grilling, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. You can add a bit of minced garlic and lemon juice for extra flavor.
- Once the stone crab claws are done, remove them from the grill and place them on a serving platter. Drizzle the melted garlic butter over them and sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley.
