  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce (plus more for topping)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, gently combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, diced onion, minced garlic, beaten eggs, milk, Worcestershire sauce, dried thyme, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  • Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Transfer the seasoned ground beef mixture into the dish and shape it into a loaf.
  • Spread the 1/2 cup of barbecue sauce evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
  • Bake the meatloaf in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
