Description

Refreshing lemon myrtle iced tea powerpacked delight Reviving citrus aroma deeply satisfying flavor Ideal for hot days

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup lemon myrtle leaves (fresh or dried)
  • 4 black tea bags
  • 4 cups water
  • 23 tablespoons honey (optional)
  • 46 lemon slices (for garnish)

  • Instructions

  • Bring the 4 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan. Once the water is boiling, remove it from the heat and add the lemon myrtle leaves and black tea bags. Allow the mixture to steep for 8-10 minutes.
  • After the steeping time is up, use a fine-mesh strainer to remove the lemon myrtle leaves and tea bags from the brewed tea. Discard the used leaves and bags. If you prefer a sweeter iced tea, stir in 2-3 tablespoons of honey (or your sweetener of choice) until it’s fully dissolved.
  • Pour the lemon myrtle iced tea into a pitcher or container and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes, or until it’s chilled and refreshing. When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the iced tea over the top. Garnish each glass with a lemon slice.
