Indulge in a cheesy and delicious pasta dish with power beef bowtie in rich garlic butter Quick easy recipe for a comforting family meal
Ingredients
Scale
12 ounces bowtie pasta, cooked according to package instructions
1 pound ground beef, lean for a healthier option
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to the package instructions, usually around 8-10 minutes, until al dente. Drain the pasta and set it aside.
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat, breaking it up with a wooden spoon as it cooks, until it’s browned and cooked through, about 7-10 minutes. Drain any excess fat from the pan.
In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, browned beef, and the garlic butter sauce. Stir until well combined. Transfer the mixture to a 9×13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
Melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and drizzle it over the top of the casserole. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. For an extra golden-brown topping, you can broil the casserole for the last 2-3 minutes.
Remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with the chopped parsley. Serve the Cheesy Beef Bowtie Pasta in Garlic Butter hot and enjoy the perfect balance of flavors in every bite!
